Having a skateboard is good. Having a one-of-a-kind skateboard is great. No two skateboards need to be identical, and you can decorate your skateboard to fit your own personal style. Follow these steps to decorate a skateboard and be the envy of the skate park.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Paint
  • Paint brushes
  • Stickers
  • Plain skateboard
  1. Step 1

Go to your local craft store. Here you will find many different colors of paint and stickers to decorate your skateboard to fit your personality.

  2. Step 2

Decide if a theme is to be used or random designs will do the job. If the skateboard is to be decorated for a girl, then pretty colors like pink and purple can be used. Even cute stickers of animals are sufficient. Purchase some paint and supplies along with stickers.

  3. Step 3

Lay down old newspapers on the driveway. This will protect it from any mess you're about to make.

  4. Step 4

Paint the skateboard entirely or with random designs. It can be painted with one color then designs can be put on top of that. Allow the paint to dry completely between coats and designs.

  5. Step 5

Place stickers on skateboard for the final touch. Take a step back and see if it is decorated enough. The final style is in the eye of the beholder. Add as many or few stickers as you choose depending on your style and how you want to decorate it.

  6. Step 6

Take the newly decorated skateboard down to the skate park and show off your design and skating talents.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be sure to clean up the mess when finished.
  • When using paint be sure to use in a well ventilated area like outdoors. A mask can also be used to avoid breathing harmful fumes.
