The Moral Majority developed strength in the 1980's when it was credited for giving a heavy winning vote to Ronald Reagan. It died down but was revived by Falwell in 2004 to take a Christian stand on political issues. If you're a conservative Christian, you may want to become a member of the Moral Majority.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Stick with conservative views of the family and all things that support that view, including entertainment. Additionally, take a staunch conservative side of the political issues. Help to outlaw abortion and stop recognition of homosexuality as an acceptable way of life.

  2. Step 2

Support those conservatives that believe in the issues that you support. Never donate to a candidate that is against the side you support.

  3. Step 3

Join the coalition that is the Moral Majority. The website just requires that you sign your name, email, address and date of birth.

  4. Step 4

Give your time to get out the vote and get issues to the foreground. Spreading the word is the most important part of any movement. Votes count and the more people that you can get to the polls the better. Many who believe heavily in the values of the Moral Majority tend to be older and don't drive. Donate that service.

  5. Step 5

Dig deep into your pocket to give funds to political figures that have the same agenda as you. If you are uncertain whether all the agenda is followed, check on the website to see if your candidate is supported by the Moral Majority.

  6. Step 6

Find the values of your present legislatures and their voting positions. Write your legislator if they vote against your belief system. Write them ahead if a crucial vote is about to take place and let them know your view.

  7. Step 7

Join in group prayer for our nation. Part of the Moral Majority's agenda is not just political but also protective. If you believe in keeping God in the Pledge and the 10 Commandments in the classroom, you're almost part of the Moral Majority without really trying.
