Lulu.com offers everyone the chance to become a great author. As the largest and most widely visited self-publishing site on the net, Lulu.com can help a struggling author start out or help a person find that perfect niche book that they have been looking for. On top of that, the site will also let people turn personal photo albums or project papers into a fully bound book, which is perfect for small business or for archiving your family history.

Instructions

1. Browse to the Lulu website. (See the resources section below for the website address.)

2. Select the "Buy" tab from the tabs at the top of the screen. This will take you to the main buying area, which is a huge list of media styles and topics.

3. Choose a media type and style in which you are interested. This will take you to the list for that group. Up at the top of the book list you will find a listing of subheadings. This will allow you to refine your search further while staying in the same area of the site.

4. Pick out the item that you want to buy by clicking on the item's name or picture. This will take you to the details page. Here you can look over basic information about the format and contents of the book.

5. Click the "Add to Cart" button if you want to buy the item. This will take you to a standard shopping cart like you will find on most major sites such as Buy.com or Amazon.

6. Go to checkout from there. If you do not have a Lulu account, they will prompt you to make one. If you do have one, you will need to log in. Account creation on Lulu is safe and easy. All you need is an email address, a password (that you choose), a billing address, a shipping address and payment information. If you do not want to use your credit card, Lulu accepts PayPal as well.

7. Look over your order on the final page, select the type of shipping you want and click "Place Order." Only click the button once, otherwise you may make multiple orders by mistake.
