Since the inception of the Internet, connectivity and ease of communication are hallmarks of the web. Well one new form of Internet communication is the virtual hug. It is a more personalized way to tell others that they are cared for. Sending a virtual hug is a snap and is a great way of staying in touch with others.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Determine if the virtual hug will reach its target. Some make the mistake that others are tech savvy and read their email messages daily. If this is not true then the virtual hug is wasted.

  2. Step 2

Decide which type of virtual hug to send. There are friendly hugs, intimate hugs, brotherly hugs and family hugs. These are not the only types but a sender must make sure that the type is appropriate for the recipient.

  3. Step 3

Select an Internet site from which to send the virtual hug. Some sites require that the sender register with their site. In this case, it is a good idea to have an email address set up that is not the primary email address. That way the primary address will not be inundated with email spam.

  4. Step 4

Choose the virtual card options. Will the virtual hug have music embedded? Does the sender want a read receipt? Does the card have a personalized message on it?

  5. Step 5

Send the virtual hug. Make sure that email of the recipient is correct before sending the virtual hug. Once the site, type of virtual hug and virtual hug options are selected hit the "Send" button.
