Things You'll Need:
- Slicker brush
- Pin brush
- Metal comb
- #5 blade
- #10 blade
-
Step 1
Seek professional help for this breed. Unless you have been extensively trained in hand stripping, you need to see a professional groomer in order to style a Sealyham Terrier correctly.
-
Step 2
Brush out the double coat, (the underside of which is very thick and soft and the top part of which is coarse and hard), with slicker brushes, pin brushes and metal combs, as needed. This breed sheds very little hair, if any.
-
Step 3
Use a #5 blade to trim the body, back, tail and sides of the dog. Use a #10 blade on the stomach, head, neck and ears.
