How to Make Friends With Working Moms

Making friends in general can be difficult enough, but trying to schedule activities and make friends with working moms can seem almost impossible. From being in the right place to meet working moms to scheduling, you can create great friendships with working moms in your community.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Join an established playgroup or meetup in your area. Although these groups usually tend to cater to stay at home moms, there are many planned activities and meeting times for working moms to bring their children, too.
Step2
Keep in touch with your single friends and rekindle relationships with past friends who are working. Your single friends will probably end up with families of their own at some point. Reviving past friendships is one avenue for expanding your relationships with working mothers.
Step3
Take a class. There are many classes offered through community and educational organizations. This is a great networking tool that teaches you about something you enjoy in the process. Plus, it gives you a platform to find working mothers with similar interests as you.
Step4
Volunteer at your child's school and in the community. You can meet some fascinating people outside of your normal circles if you reach out to other places for activities and involvement. Being active in your schools or community organizations introduces you to new prospective friends.
Step5
Network through stay at home mothers. Let your stay at home friends introduce you to their friends that work outside of the home. Plan activities for the weekends and evenings that will accommodate everyone's schedules.
