Cell phones are making it easier to get in touch with your family and friends more than ever. With the technology of text messaging and emails, you can check and receive emails with your cell phones, or even send messages to your friend's cell phones by using your own personal email clients as well. If you know your friend's cell phone number and their cell phone company, it is easy to send them a message by following the steps below.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Retrieve the cell phone number that you are needing from your friend, family member, or aquaintance.
Step2
Find out the name of the cell phone company that they are using.
Step3
Place the cell phone number in front of the email address, then place the "@" sign after it. Have the name of the cell phone company follow it. For example, "5559494@verizonwireless.net .
Step4
Open up your email client and place the new cell phone email address into your "to" field. Compose your email and then click "send."
Step5
Visit the cell phone company's website if you are still unable to send a message. Most websites will have a place where you can send a friend a text message by using their website if yo know their personal cell phone number.
