2. Check to see where the championships will be held at the Big 12 tennis website. The venue changes from year to year. The 2008 site of the championships is the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center at Texas A&M. This will also be the site of the 2009 NCAA national championships.
3. Buy tickets through the Big 12 when they are available. To be sure to get tickets, sign up with a commercial site that will notify you of ticket availability.
4. Check on accommodations for the city hosting the championships by using that city's visitor's bureau. Check with commercial ticket companies to see if package rates are available.
5. Contact the alumni organization of a specific Big 12 university if you have ties to that university. Sometimes alumni groups will be arranging group trips to the championships.
