  1. Step 1

To use Verizon video messaging, you'll need to first register your account on verizonwireless.com. Once you've registered your account, you'll need to access your video messaging email. Your picture/video messaging email is your mobilenumber@vzwpix.com.

  2. Step 2

To send and receive video messages, you'll need a video messaging capable phone. You'll be able to send a video message to anyone with an email address, even if they have another wireless phone carrier. Video messaging requires subscription to a data plan, or you can pay 25 cents per message.

  3. Step 3

Using your phone or the Verizon wireless website, you can upload a 15-second video message. To upload the message using your phone, select new message. Depending on your phone, you should be able to choose video message. Once you've recorded your message, you can choose to send it to one or multiple email addresses.

  4. Step 4

To save the message to your phone, be sure to send a copy of the message to yourself. The size of your message will vary by phone. You can record a video from anywhere in the world, even outside the United States. But, you only can send and receive the message inside the Verizon wireless coverage area.

  5. Step 5

You can also add text to your video message. Through the Verizon wireless website, log into your account and click on the messaging tab. From there, choose picture and video messaging.

  6. Step 6

Under picture and video messaging, select send a message. You can upload the video, and then drag and drop the media you want to send. You can preview and send the video message from the website. It takes minutes to make a video that will create a lasting memory.
