With business, residential and wireless services, Verizon has fast become one of the most reliable and popular communication services on the market today. Verizon offers email, voicemail, video messaging, Voice-over-Internet Protocol technology, cell phone and email synchronization, wireless printing and, now, Efaxes. With all these wireless services, you may never have to go into the office again.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

Register your account at the Verizon website, verizon.com, and you'll be able to access your email accounts. Set up your email account, and send and receive emails as attachments. To the person faxing you, it will appear as a regular fax, but you'll receive it as an attachment.

  2. Step 2

Sign up for an Efax account with www.efax.com. You'll receive an Efax number that will coincide with your Verizon email account. You can choose a local or toll free fax number when you sign up for Efaxes.

  3. Step 3

Open your email, and you can receive emails in your Inbox as an attached document. You can then open the document and print from your computer. You also can setup your wireless phone to receive email faxes.

  4. Step 4

Send faxes by signing up for Efax plus or pro, attach a file to an email, and in the "To" box, type the faxnumber@efaxsend.com. Using your Verizon email, you'll be able to receive and send faxes and bypass busy signals and disabled fax machines.

  5. Step 5

Save the fax by saving the attachment onto your computer. You also can receive faxes through the Efax website. If you have an existing fax number, call your phone company and forward the number to your new Efax number.
