If you're new to the Internet and you've just signed up for Juno as your ISP, using email for the first time may seem a little scary. However, Juno Email is pretty easy to use, and once you know the basic steps to using it, beware of how addicting it can be!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Log into your Juno account. If you have not yet created a Juno account, go to www.juno.com, choose "Sign Me Up," and follow all download instructions. Click on the tab for "Mail Home." If you only have a web mail account, click on "Email on the Web" before clicking "Mail Home."

  2. Step 2

Check your email. If you are logging on to check your email, click on "Inbox" or "Check Messages" in the side bar or on the "Inbox" tab in the center of the page. To delete any unwanted messages, click "Delete" at the top of the opened email, or if deleting directly from you inbox, click the small square next the email you wish to delete to create a checkmark and then click "Delete" at the top of the screen.

  3. Step 3

Send an email. If you wish to write an email, click on "Compose" which is also located in the side bar or on a tab in the center of the page. If you click on the drop-down box instead of the directly on the "Compose" button, click on "Email." In the "To" box, type in the recipient's email address (or recipients' email addresses), a title for your email in the subject line (optional), type your message and click "Send."

  4. Step 4

Learn to use other features. In the side bar of your email program you will see the folders for "Junk Mail," "Sent," "Trash" and "Draft." A quick overview of these folders: "Junk Mail" is for suspected spam (however, sometimes email that you want to see is filtered into this box); "Sent" is the folder where all email messages you have previously sent are stored; "Trash" is where messages that you have deleted go; and "Draft" is where you would save emails you wish to finish composing at a later time. Also, you can always use the Help Tool for tutorials and FAQs on other features you may wish to use on Juno.
