Step 1
Consider the new Earthlink email address you would like to use. In most cases you can change your user name but won't be able to change the domain name unless you change service providers.
-
Step 2
Compile a list of all the individuals, companies and other entities you must inform of your new email address. This allows you to ensure everyone is aware of your new email address when you make the change.
-
Step 3
Allow time for overlap between the two email addresses. You should begin using your new Earthlink email address before you close the original email address. Important emails sent to the old email address will not be missed if you keep the old email address active.
-
Step 1
Log into your Earthlink email account by entering your current email address and your password.
-

-
Step 4
Click on the "Add Email Profile" button and then the "OK" button to complete the creation of a new Earthlink email address.
-
Step 5
Begin using your new Earthlink email address for regular communications. You can delete the old profile and email address at a later date.
