Ask wakeboarding friends where they go wakeboarding, They'd be glad to share their favorite locations as well as give you some gnarly tips.

Go to your local sports equipment store and ask the people who work there where they would recommend wakeboarding. They might have some tips as to where to go, or people you could ask.
Step3
Hit the Web and search for wakeboarding locations. A good source of information are wakeboarding forums. Wakeboarding fans love to talk about the sport, and will give you tips of where to go.
Step4
Check out the lakes and ponds in your area.
Step5
Go to your state's parks and recreation site and look for state parks that include lakes or ponds. Check out any regulations regarding motor boats in these waters. Some may have limitations attached to them regarding motor boat use.
Step6
Travel to the sea. Finding a location that's not too close to a beach and far from lobster buoys and private beaches can take some work, but it's not impossible. Ask around at the shore where a good location for wakeboarding might be, and people who live there should be able to help.
