How to Invite Friends to a Rave
A rave is a party where dancers move to techno music and party until the sun comes up. These all-night dance parties do take a little bit of planning, such as hiring a DJ, finding a venue and, of course, deciding who to invite to come glowsticking at your bash.

1
Determine how many people you want to invite. Keep the size of the venue in mind and be sure that the place can hold the number of friends you plan to invite.
-
2
Decide whether or not you will be charging admission. Depending on the size of your rave, it can be a small amount, like $2 or $3. This will help you cover the cost of the venue rental and the DJ or whatever else you would like to provide, such as beverages.

3
Make a list of the friends you have chosen to invite. Include names, addresses, email addresses and phone numbers.
-
4
Choose how you would like to deliver your invitations. Sending invites through regular mail is not necessary for a rave. Instead, go with email, their MySpace page, text message or by phone.
-
5
Confirm those who plan to attend. Trying to confirm as many people as you can who plan on attending is a great way to keep a head count, which is necessary to avoid going over-capacity for the Rave venue.

Tips & Warnings
Consider passing out flyers. Small flyers can be made inexpensively from any computer and printer. Pass out flyers at your next get-together with friends.
Keep all illegal drugs out. Do your best to keep drugs out and keep everyone safe.
Don't go over the capacity of the building. This is a sure way to get your rave shut down in a hurry. Also, it creates a fire hazard. Overcrowded rooms can lead to people getting sick from heat exhaustion.
