How to Network to Get a Waste Management Job

There are many departments of waste management in which you can work. These include payroll, hazardous waste, landfill, commercial representation and waste transfer. The key to getting a job with waste management is to get your resume to the appropriate recruiter for the position you desire. Follow these steps to network and get a waste management job.

  1. Step 1

    Put together a professional resume so you have it ready when you network. You can do this on your own using programs such as Microsoft Word or Works or you can have it created for you by a document creation specialist.

  2. Step 2

    Visit monster.com and click on "Post Resume" at the top of the page. You will be asked to enter your username and password or sign up for an account. Select jobs in waste management and you resume will be sent to the recruiters for those jobs.

  3. Step 3

    Post a resume on careerbuilder.com. Register for an account if you don't already have one. Select jobs in waste management and you will be contacted by a hiring manager if you meet the qualifications.
