Instructions
  1. Step 1

Do some research on the telemarketing company. Be sure you know what the company specializes in and learn what type of dialing system they're using. Taking the time to get to know the company being able to write that in your cover letter will show the company you are dedicated.

  2. Step 2

Describe your assets. Know what you do best and describe your talents and gifts. Be sure to include any management and technical skills that pertain to the telemarketing field as well as interpersonal skills that would make you an asset to the work place.

  3. Step 3

Connect your assets to their needs. Write the cover letter knowing what the telemarketing firm's needs are and how you can fill those needs.

  4. Step 4

Be brief and to the point. Even though you want to the tell them all your wonderful volunteerism and how well you care for your pet goldfish, don't. Keep your writing on topic and tell them exactly what you're looking for in a telemarketing job.

  5. Step 5

Thank them for their time and consideration. It takes time to read through dozens of cover letters and resumes. Be grateful that a hurried telemarketing manager, who most likely would rather be doing his regular job, got to your resume and gave you consideration for the job.
