How to Give a Sensual Tantric Massage

Tantra is an ancient healing method developed centuries ago in the Far East. Designed to release a person's natural kundalini energy for profound physical and emotional healing, tantra can be practiced in a wide variety of ways. There is tantric yoga, tantric meditation, tantric sex and tantric massage. These disciplines take years, even decades, to perfect. However, it is possible to quickly learn a few basic tantric massage techniques for the purpose of giving a sensual, intensely pleasurable massage to your partner.

Things You'll Need:

  • Massage oil
  • Sheet or towel

    Get in the Mood With Tantric Massage

  1. Step 1

    Have your partner remove his shirt, socks and shoes and lay face up on a comfortable, flat surface. You may want to provide a sheet or towel for your partner to cover up with for modesty or warmth.

  2. Step 2

    Pour a few drops of massage oil onto your hands and rub them together for a few moments.

  3. Step 3

    Rub your partner's feet, taking care to press your thumbs into the arch, heel and ball of each foot. Squeeze each toe and give a gentle pinch to the webs in between the toes.

  4. Step 4

    Apply more oil to your hands, and then rub your partner's shoulders for 5 to 10 minutes. Don't rub too hard, as this is not a deep tissue massage. Keep a slightly firm, even pressure and be sure to work your way around both shoulder blades.

  5. Step 5

    Clear your partner's energy by briskly waving your hands over his or her entire body. Keep your hands approximately 6 inches above your partner's body and wave using a flicking motion in your wrists. Work your way down from the head to the toes, and then back up again.

  6. Step 6

    Ask your partner to turn over onto her stomach.

  7. Step 7

    Apply more oil to your hands. Then, give a slightly firm, gentle rubbing to your partner's back, buttocks, thighs and calves.

  8. Step 8

    Trace your fingertips over your partner's entire body from head to toe, using extremely light, feather-like strokes. This helps build up the kundalini energy, preparing it for release.

  9. Step 9

    Balance your partner's chakras. Working one at a time, hold both of your hands approximately 6 inches above each chakra for about 15 to 20 seconds. Feel the warmth and energy flowing out of each chakra, then concentrate on stabilizing and balancing it with your own energy from your hands.

  10. Step 10

    Cover up your partner with the sheet or towel and leave him to rest and enjoy the feeling of sensual relaxation from the massage.

Tips & Warnings
  • Buy a chakra chart from your local bookstore so you can see just where each of the body's seven chakra energy centers is located.
  • Tantric massage can awaken deeply sensual, intensely pleasurable feelings in many people. Sometimes, these feelings are too much to handle, especially for first-timers. If your partner expresses alarm or concern at these feelings as you give the massage, stop. Let your partner regain composure. Then, ask permission before continuing with the massage. It may be that your partner would prefer to continue at another time.
