Pokemon: Emerald is the hugely popular sequel to Pokemon: Ruby and Pokemon: Sapphire. As with those earlier games, there are several cheats and passwords for Game Boy Advance that allow you get the most out of your game play.

Instructions

Use the Clone Cheat

Step 1

Access the Battle Frontier and visit the Battle Tower.
Step 2

Select items to clone and attach them to a Pokemon. Any Pokemon in the PC will work.
Step 3

Reclaim your items by selecting "Move Items." Return items to your bag.
Step 4

Log off without saving.
Step 5

Save your game only after the woman on the counter prompts you.
Step 6

Wait as the game feezes for a few seconds. Play will then resume.
Step 7

Turn the game off and on again.
Step 8

Return to the Pokemon inside the PC. You'll find your items still attached as you left them. But inside your bag, you'll have the same items too!

Use the Berry Master's Wife's Passwords

Step 1

Visit the Berry Master's wife and repeat password phrases to receive special berries. You're only allowed to use one password a day.
Step 2

Enter CHALLENGE VICTORY to get a Chesto Berry.
Step 3

Enter COOL LATIOS to get a Durin Berry.
Step 4

Enter CHALLENGE CONTEST to get a Pamtre Berry.
Step 5

Enter GREAT BATTLE to get a Spelon Berry.
Step 6

Enter SUPER HUSTLE to get a Belue Berry.

Unlock a Mystery Gift

Step 1

Visit the Pokemon Mart.
Step 2

Reply to the paper on the counter by pressing "A."
Step 3

Enter the password LINK TOGETHER WITH ALL.
Step 4

Find the right words by pressing "select."
Step 5

Listen as the storekeeper tells you that the mystery gift has been unlocked.

Unlock Groudon and Kyogre

Step 1

Visit the weather institute and talk to the man who gave you Castform.
Step 2

Listen as he predicts either rainfall or a drought. Rainfall refers to Kyogre. Drought refers to Groudon.
Step 3

Follow the route as directed. You'll have to use your surf, match bike and waterfall to catch as much as you can.

Receive Special Prizes From Scott

Step 1

Visit the Battle Frontier and find Scott's house.
Step 2

Receive special berries or decorations based on your success in the Battle Frontier.
Step 3

Get a Gold Shield for winning at least 100 battles.
Step 4

Win a Lansat Berry after claiming all the Silver Frontier Symbols.
Step 5

Earn a Silver Shield Decoration after winning at least 50 battles.
Step 6

Win a Starf Berry after claiming all the Gold Frontier Symbols.
