Step 1
Open the LimeWire application. PC users can find it by clicking the "Start" menu. Mac users can find the LimeWire application in their programs dock.

Click on the "Video" icon to limit your search results to movies.

Use the available search fields to find the movie you're looking for. A basic LimeWire search will allows you to enter title, type, year, rating or length. Movies can be downloaded in a variety of file types including MPEG, AVI and Quicktime.

Select a movie from the search results. Use the progress bar to monitor the download status. Once it reaches 100 percent, highlight the file name and click the red "Cancel" icon to clear it from the queue.

Insert a blank, recordable DVD into your computer's DVD burner drive. Your computer will be able to tell you've inserted a disc for burning movies and will open dialogue boxes to help navigate you through the process.

Click "Prepare" to mount the disc onto your desktop.

Open the iDVD program. It should have come installed on your computer. Find the iDVD icon in your application dock if it doesn't automatically open when the disc is inserted.

Drag and drop the downloaded movie from your computer desktop into the blank disc icon on your desktop. This will load a list of information onto the disc, but it will not burn the DVD movie.

Select the "Burn Disc" option from the "File" drop-down menu. You can also start the burning process by dragging the blank disc icon to your computer's "Trash" icon in the dock. The trashcan will change into a yellow and black symbol with the words "Burn Disc" above it.

Confirm your choice to burn the DVD when the dialogue box appears on screen.

Eject the disc when the burning process is complete. To do this, you can either drag and drop the burned disc icon into your trash or by selecting "File" and "Eject" from your drop-down menus.

Open the Windows Movie Maker application by clicking on the "Start" menu. It's also possible to open the program by inserting a blank disc into your DVD drive. Click "Burn a DVD Video Disc Using Windows DVD Maker" when the AutoPlay option appears on screen.

Click "File" from your drop-down menus. Select "Add Items" to import your downloaded video from Lime Wire.

Step 3
Click the "Burn" button once the video has finished importing.

Step 4
Select "File" and "Close" when the DVD has finished burning. This will quit the program.

Step 5
Eject your burned DVD from the computer desktop.

on 4/28/2009 i like limewire...but what is the prob with bruning the movies? i usally use my MAGIX Movie Edit Pro (http://www.magix.com/us/movie-edit-pro/), to burn my Videos, coz im used to create a DVD menu before.

on 4/15/2009 Limewire is good, as long as you are careful not to download viruses and the movies are not always reliable. I have also found this a slightly more reliable site to be a great source of virus free music/movies: http://tinyurl.com/virus-free-music

on 10/23/2008 when I burn movies from windows media player it burns a double picture , what is wrong. is there a better program.
