How to Use Bondage Tape

Bondage tape is quite useful during sexual bondage play. If you are into BDSM, no doubt you will want to use it at some point. It adheres to itself but not to your hair or skin. The best part is that it is reusable, allowing you to use it for multiple scenes.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

    Dominate Your Partner Softly

  1. Step 1

Try designer bondage tape for a beautiful, aesthetically pleasing photo session between you and your submissive. This is the same bondage tape but it comes in various colors and patterns. Three examples are a black chain design, a red rope design and a roses and barb wire design (see Resources below).

  2. Step 2

Use bondage tape when you want soft bondage play. Not everyone enjoys the sensation of ropes cutting into their skin or chains pulling on their limbs. If you enjoy the feeling of being bound loosely but don't want pain or too much restriction, try the tape.

  3. Step 3

Experiment with bondage using bondage tape. Unlike with ropes, you can get out of bondage tape fairly easily in case of emergency if you don't wrap it too tightly. Those who are hesitant to try it can get an intense pleasure from it without extreme restraint.

  4. Step 4

Mummify your submissive near a cushion or mattress in case she tips over. Simply wrap the bondage tape around her torso, binding her arms against her side and her legs together. You can wrap it fairly tightly for complete immobility or allow her some flexibility.

  5. Step 5

Use the bondage tape as a blindfold or gag. Use a little bit to make wrist and ankle cuffs or use a lot to make a cute tube top and miniskirt combination for her.

Tips & Warnings
  • While you can reuse bondage tape, it can sometimes be difficult to roll back up. If you and your partner are quite playful, purchase several rolls at a time so you don't run out.
  • Always have a pair of scissors handy to cut your partner out of the tape quickly. Medical scissors with a blunt edge work well with bondage tape.
  • Although bondage tape is less resilient than duct tape, it can be hard to escape without help. Make sure that you and your partner have a safe word or signal in case the submissive wishes to end the scene for any reason.
