From fishnet stockings and crotchless panties to fetish wear, you'll find what you're looking for more easily at a specialty store versus a department store.
2. Shop online if you are embarrassed to buy in the store. While most retailers are friendly and helpful, you might still find it embarrassing to try on lingerie in the dressing room. You shouldn't be afraid to ask for help--but many people find that the privacy of their home computer makes shopping more enjoyable.
3. Choose discreet packaging if you are concerned about the mailman. Postal workers and shippers do not have the time to judge you during their delivery schedules. However, when you want to surprise your husband and don't want him to get the package before you do, ask the retailer to ship it under a discreet company name.
