One of the reasons that the Naruto saga is so popular with its fans is that they find it easy to identify with Naruto and other cast members in the manga books, television anime episodes and movies. When the Naruto medium switches to video games, Naruto Online or collectible card games that identification becomes even more intense as fans actually get to play their favorite characters' roles.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Pick the Character That Allows You the Richest Experience

  1. Step 1

Choose Naruto video or other games based both on their reviews and on the selection of characters they offer.

  2. Step 2

Pick the main character of the series, Naruto Uzumaki, if you want to experience the central action of a game through his character.

  3. Step 3

Choose Kakashi Hatake, who is sensei or teacher for Naruto, Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha to play the game through the experience of the character that must guide and mentor Naruto and his fellow Squad 7 members as he seeks to become the next Hokage. At times Kakashi has out polled Naruto in surveys as the most popular member of the Naruto cast with fans.

  4. Step 4

Select from other characters such as Sasuke or Sakura if you want to put yourself in their shoes to try to understand how they really feel about Naruto and why.

  5. Choose a Character to Relive Dramatic Moments

  6. Step 1

Study the original manga on which all other Naruto media are based and select dramatic struggles to relive through video games.

  7. Step 2

Choose the characters that will allow you to re-enact such struggles as the Kunoichi Rumble between Sakura and Ino or the fight that pitted Naruto and Sasuke against Haku soon after they left the ninja academy.

  8. Step 3

Steer the video game action toward the moments you seek to create and the confrontations in which you are determined to prevail.

Tips & Warnings
  • Much more than anime programs you may have watched as a younger child such as Pokemon or Digimon, the Naruto saga is driven by strong characters that are trying to overcome meaningful obstacles as they push toward their goals. The more you follow their stories, the more enjoyment you will experience when you get to play these characters in your own game-based versions of the Naruto saga.
