Tips & Warnings
  • Look for easy or novice quests when you're first starting out in Runescape. You can find out which quests are easier by asking the different non-player characters (NPCs) in the game.
  • Quests you have started on will show up in your quest directory in yellow. Quests you haven't begun are red, and completed quests are green.
  • Put away your weapons and armor as you run between areas. Taking off your armor and weapons gives you less to carry, meaning your player can run longer and recover faster.
  • You won't lose any points for not accepting a quest.
  • If you fail a quest, you will be able to start it again.
  • Look for websites online that offer free guides for Runescape players. You can find advice and even step-by-step instructions for completing quests.
  • Avoid taking on a quest that you don't have the skill level for, as you risk dying and losing most of your inventory.
  • Once you've completed a quest, you cannot do it again. If you die while carrying your quest reward, you will lose it, so be sure to put it in your bank account straight away.
