Tips & Warnings

  • Set a goal for your character to help you focus on advancing levels or gaining new skills, and play to achieve that goal.

  • Visit every tutor you find, as each will give you valuable advice and sometimes free items pertaining to their skill.

  • If you die, you will be sent back to Lumbridge Castle and lose all but the three most valuable items in your inventory. Put valuable items in your bank account to keep from losing them if you die.

  • Avoid attacking any character with considerably higher skill levels.

  • Keep your player equipped with any weapons you have to increase your chances of surviving if you are attacked by a random creature.

  • Children under 13 years old are not allowed to create accounts for Runescape. Instead, parents are encouraged to make accounts and play with their young children.

  • Remember that the other players you interact with are real people in the real world. Never give out any personal information or your game password.

  • Be careful trading with other players. Always check your trades before accepting them.
