Fantasy hockey is enjoyed by many people during the NHL regular season. However, fantasy hockey is not as popular as other fantasy sports such as fantasy baseball or fantasy football. Often it is difficult to find people to join your fantasy hockey league. Here are some suggestions to help you find owners for your fantasy hockey league.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Ask family and friends first. You know which friends and family members are hockey fans. Invite them to join your league. If you have friends that love to participate in fantasy sports than you should invite them as well. Even if they’re not NHL fans that doesn’t necessarily mean that they wouldn’t be interested in participating in a fantasy hockey league.

  2. Step 2

Invite co-workers to join your league. If you know a co-worker who is a hockey fan than invite that person to join your fantasy hockey league. Not only is this a great way to get more people into your fantasy hockey league but it is a great way to have a closer relationship with your co-workers.

  3. Step 3

Advertise your league on social networking sites. Websites such as Facebook and MySpace are a great forum to spread the word about your fantasy hockey league. This is an easy way to let all of your friends on these sites know that you’ve started a fantasy hockey league. It’s also a great way to get people that you don’t know to join your fantasy hockey league.

  4. Step 4

Join hockey forums and online conversations. You can find these on any sports website such as CBS Sportsline, ESPN or Yahoo Sports. Promoting your league on any of these sites will almost certainly cause your fantasy hockey league to fill up quickly. It will also introduce you to new fantasy hockey players.

  5. Step 5

Make your fantasy hockey league a public league. Use this as a last resort. Once you make your fantasy hockey league public it will most likely become full well before your draft is scheduled.
