Build Your Downline
Build Your Downline

If you are in a multi-tier affiliate program, then you need to build a large downline. The larger and more successful your downline is, the more money you will make.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • a computer
  • the internet
  • determination
  • a positive attitude
  • perseverance
  1. Step 1

Find as many free advertising resources as you can. Look up free advertising in an internet search. Start a folder on your computer entitled "free advertising" so that you can put your favorite resources in there.

  2. Step 2

Look for safelists so that you can send emails that will not be labeled as spam. Join as many free safelists that you can find. Send an email out to these lists daily. Try to vary your ads so it will be something slightly different each day.

  3. Step 3

Start gathering email addresses by setting up your own subscription mailing list. Find something that you can give away as an incentive for customers to sign up for your mailing list.

  4. Step 4

Put the URL for your opportunity in your signature line of your email. This gives anyone the opportunity to click on it and see what your business is all about.

  5. Step 5

Find free classified ad sites and post ads in them as often as you are allowed. Try to appeal to what people are looking for that will satisfy their needs. Don't over exaggerate your opportunity. Surprisingly, people are more interested in a realistic opportunity rather than an inflated batch of unattainable promises.

  6. Step 6

Join forums and business networks. Talk about your opportunity without shoving it down anyone's throat. You might be surprised at how useful this can be. Although Joe Schmoe might not sign up for your opportunity, he can become a very valuable business associate that might help you in other ways. I have made quite a few of these.

  7. Step 7

Do some offline advertising as well. Have business cards made up and keep them handy. Place an ad in your local newspaper. Put up a sign at your grocery store at the community billboard. Make flyers and deliver them to mailboxes.

Tips & Warnings
  • If someone is not interested, don't push it. Even if you did finally talk them into joining, they would not be a productive member of your downline.
  • Market your opportunity daily. The more you get yourself out there, the more people you reach.
  • Don't stick with the same old resources, constantly find new ways to advertise.
  • Know as much as possible about the product you are promoting. Use it and talk with experience.
  • Keep in touch with your downline. Help them to achieve success. Lead with example.
  • Dont' get too excited at every single sign-up. Many people sign up and then never do anything with the business.

on 2/28/2009 JUST A WARNING: As a postal carrier I can tell you that "Make flyers and deliver them to mailboxes." is areally bad idea. Placing anything in or on a mailbox is a federal crime with not only heavy fines but prison time aswell. The postal inspectors love when people do this, since your flier will tell them who to arrest. Everything else sounds awsome, but please avoid that last part of step 7.

on 1/12/2009 I recently joined this program called WorkFor3Dollars and it's basically a system where you pay $3USD for a lifetime membership. We spend $3bucks on a bottle of coke that doesnt even last 1hour so why not invest in this? It works by a matrix system, you refer 2 people and they earn your $3 back already! The more people you refer, the more money you get but you also get the same amount of cash from indirect referrals, see for yourself:

This is the ref link for more information and direct explanations! :
