The best part of arguing with a significant other is making up afterwards. This means sex. Make up sex not only soothes the hurt feelings, but it also reminds you how petty some arguments can be and how stupid you feel for throwing a plate of spaghetti at the wall. Heck, a passionate enough make up sex session might even make throwing the spaghetti at the wall well worth it.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Humility
  • Coy smile
  • Positive attitude

Step1
Start with a hug. Tell your mate how sorry you are for your part of the argument and ask if you can please give him a hug.
Step2
Kiss his neck. Ask him if you can put the argument behind you. Please.
Step3
Press your body firmly against his. Whisper in his ear that it’s much more fun when you two are agreeing on things, like now.
Step4
Trickle your fingertips up and down his back, his shoulders, the nape of his neck, his hips.
Step5
Lead him to the bedroom.

Tips & Warnings

  • Relax. Make up sex is designed to unleash the stresses and frets built up by the argument.
  • If neither side will budge, it’s often best to wait a day or two until you are both sex-starved and sorry.
  • Don’t initiate make up sex unless you are really ready to forgive, forget and move on. Otherwise you’re liable to get mad in the middle of it.
  • Don’t bring up the topic of the argument, it'll just rehash the anger.
  • Never mention the spaghetti plate crashing into the wall.
