Instructions

    • 1

Make sure that nesting season is over. You can be pretty darn certain it's over when you stop hearing the birds in your house and stop seeing the momma birds continuously flying toward the openings in your house or condo.

    • 2

Make sure you identify all potential entry points into your house or condo. An example of an entry point is the exhaust pipe from your dryer.

    • 3

Purchase wire mesh that would be just large enough to let air in and out of your home or condo but small enough so that the birds will decide to attack someone's elses home for their nesting needs.

    • 4

Cut the mesh to fit over the opening or entry point. Attach with duct tape or some other water proof tape.

    • 5

Your home or condo will now be bird proof and you should never awaken again to the twittering of swallows unless of course you have your window open. Happy slumbering!

Tips & Warnings

  • The Audubon Society might come after you if you decide to put up your mesh before nesting season is over.
