Things You'll Need:
- Astringent
- Q-tip
-
Step 1
Ingrown hairs are a command problem in hair removal procedures. You can easily combat the situation. First cleanse the area and get it as dry as you can. Fan drying is recommended.
-
Step 2
Astringent will take care of this. You can buy sea-breeze or even benzyl peroxide. Take a Q-tip and dip it in your product. Rub it on infected area two or three times a day. Your goal is to clean out the puss or infection.
-
Step 3
Usually the bump will have greatly diminished and there is no need for anything else. Although for the stubborn situations keep this in mind. The hair will start to appear if you haven't seen it yet. You can use a lancet (needle that breaks open skin) to gently puncture skin if needed. Then you are able to pluck it out. You can buy lancets at a pharmacy or local drug store.
