  1. Step 1

Understand how it works. In a nutshell, attorneys present highlights of their case to a set of mock jurors, who deliberate until they reach a mock verdict. Mock jurors provide insight by offering valuable evaluation and feedback. Attorneys often use this preliminary information when deciding whether or not to accept a case and/or are looking to research a case before heading into a real a courtroom.

Working from home and online as an e-juror can earn you anywhere from $10 to $100+ per case, depending on the length of the case and trial.

  3. Step 3

Review each site's requirements to make sure that you meet the necessary criteria to qualify. Most sites have some basic requirements, much like a "real" juror, such as:

You cannot be a lawyer or an insurance company representative.
Must be at least 18 years old.
You must be a United States citizen.
    No felony convictions.

  4. Step 4

Complete and submit membership applications to all sites that you qualify for. This will increase your chances of being selected for online jury duty, as some sites will be more active than others.

  5. Step 5

If and/or when you are selected for online jury duty, read and carefully review all instructions, guidelines and requirements provided. By doing a good job, you'll increase your chances of being invited and selected to serve again.
