Instructions

    • 1

Get at least two sheets of paper. On the first one begin listing characteristics of your villain. Is it a male or female and where is she from? What are her powers and how did she attain them? What type of person was your character before attaining these powers? And what type of life did she lead? For example, did she work on a dock, or in a bank? She could even be homeless if you prefer.

    • 2

Flesh out your character's motives. This is especially important with a villain. A great villain has something in his past that drives him to commit these atrocities against other people. Think about his childhood, or maybe a traumatic event that caused him to choose the wrong path. This will be instrumental in future stories, since his past will influence his future actions.

    • 3

Use the second sheet of paper to draw your villain. Decide what colors to use for the costume and give him a name that will strike fear in the hearts of good people everywhere. Make a style sheet. Show full face, profile, head and shoulders and full length in his costume. Sign and date your work.

Tips & Warnings

  • Your villain can be the main focus of a great number of stories and concepts as she attempts to right the perceived wrongs against her. Over time, she may evolve into an even more vicious creature -- or she may begin to soften her treachery and begin to show a few signs of goodness, however fleeting.
