Things You'll Need:
- Adobe Premier Elements
- MP3,MP4 or WAV music file
- Rights to use the file in your composition

Step 1
Scene Line ViewIn SCENE VIEW, from the file menu, choose GET MEDIA and select files or folders. Browse for the correct music file and click OK. You will now see the file in the AVAILABLE MEDIA pallet. Select the file and with your mouse drag it to the correct place in the scene line.

Step 2
Timeline ViewSelect TIMELINE and you will see your video and audio in the MY PROJECT area. Scroll through the various Audio channels until you see SOUNDTRACK.

Sountrack viewThe yellow bar embedded in the soundtrack is the volume for the soundtrack, you can increase or decrease the volume by grabbing the yellow line with your mouse and moving it up or down.

Fade controlsThe window to the upper left of the project window will allow to easily fade in or fade out the music. You can also add "grab points" on the yellow soundtrack bar to lower the volume and increase it in designated areas of the movie.
