Waxing a man’s chest is an excellent way to remove unwanted hair and create a smooth appearance.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging

Things You’ll Need:

  • Home waxing kit
  • Pain relievers
  • Ice
Step1
Purchase a waxing kit with application strips that are designed for waxing a large surface.
Step2
Read the instructions in the waxing kit to fully understand application and removal methods.
Step3
Using the applicator, apply a thick layer of the wax to an area of the chest that is the same size as the cloth that you will use for removal.
Step4
Once the wax is in place, apply the cloth and rub back and forth firmly to adhere the wax to the cloth strip.
Step5
Pull skin tight and in one quick motion, pull the strip quickly in the opposite direction of hair growth to remove the hair.
Step6
Repeat the process until the chest is fully waxed.

Tips & Warnings

  • To minimize pain after removal, most kits come with soothing cream. If that is not available or is not comforting, use an ice pack or take pain relief for additional relief.
  • Review the different products available to find the kit best suited for your needs. Kits use different types of wax and application techniques.
  • Once the hair is removed, the hair should not grow back for six to eight weeks. Once the hair has returned, repeat this process to continue to keep hair under control.
  • Always read and understand the home waxing kit instructions before proceeding.
  • If you are unsure about a home waxing kit, seek the assistance of a spa professional.
