Driving to Shea Stadium from Hoboken can be a nightmare. Avoid having to do so by taking public transportation to Shea. Here is how you can get to Shea Stadium from Hoboken without having to drive.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Walk to the Hoboken Path Station. The path station can be found at 40 Hudson Place in Hoboken.

  2. Step 2

    Buy a $10 Pay-per-ride MetroCard. These MetroCards can be used at both Path as well as subway stations. This will save you some time on your way to Shea Stadium.

  3. Step 3

    Take the Path train to the 33 street stop. This is the fifth and final stop. The stop is located at the Manhattan Mall.

  4. Step 4

    Exit the train.

  5. Step 5

    Stay underground and swipe your MetroCard at one of the subway terminals.

  6. Step 6

    Take either the N, Q, R or W train uptown to 42 street. 42 street will be the first stop after 33.

  7. Step 7

    Exit the train.

  8. Step 8

    Stay underground and follow the signs to the 7 train

  9. Step 9

    Get on the 7 express train heading towards Flushing-Main Street. The express train will have a diamond-shaped logo on it instead of a circular one.

  10. Step 10

    Take the train to the Willets Point-Shea Stadium stop. This will be the ninth stop. Shea Stadium will be very visible.

  11. Step 11

    Exit the train.
