Be sure the space you use, whether it is in your home, outdoors or in a classroom, is clean and relaxing. A dirty or cluttered space will lend no benefit to your relaxation routine.

Make the space quiet or use soft, meditation music. Clear your thoughts and try not to think about anything negative.

Be as sure as you can that you won't be interrupted. Turn off the phone at your house and definitely the cell phone at class.
