Here, I will explain how to gently and safely remove latex paint from houseplants.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Combine one tablespoon of vinegar with 12 ounces of water.

  2. Step 2

    Pour solution into an empty spray bottle

  3. Step 3

    Spray a small amount of the solution of the affected area.

  4. Step 4

    Use the soft cotton cloth to gently rub away the paint.

Tips & Warnings
  • This solution may also be used for general cleaning of household plants. Removes dust and debris as well as shining up the foilage.
  • Be very delicate when rubbing out paint as not to damage the plant.
