How to Remove Latex Paint Off a Plant

Here, I will explain how to gently and safely remove latex paint from houseplants.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• soft cotton cloth
• spray bottle
• water
• vinegar

1. Combine one tablespoon of vinegar with 12 ounces of water.

2. Pour solution into an empty spray bottle

3. Spray a small amount of the solution of the affected area.

4. Use the soft cotton cloth to gently rub away the paint.

Tips & Warnings

• This solution may also be used for general cleaning of household plants. Removes dust and debris as well as shining up the foilage.
• Be very delicate when rubbing out paint as not to damage the plant.
