If you're tired of watching conservatives win elections, this simple solution can help you do your part to get a more moderate republican candidate.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Registration information for voting
Step1
Get a voter registration card from your local board of elections. If you are already registered as a non-Republican, ask them how to switch party affiliation.
Step2
Fill out the requisite information and select to be registered as a Republican.
Step3
Return your card to the local board of elections. Ensure they have received your information and that you are registered.
Step4
Take part in the Republican primary for president and local elections. Here is where you can vote for the most moderate Republican if you're not a die-hard conservative.
Step5
Come general election time, vote for the candidate you think is best. Just because you're a registered Republican does not mean you have to vote for them.
