How to Enjoy A Relaxing Bath.

Bubble Bath. Bubble Bath.

I Did This Rate: (3 Ratings)

With everything that's happening in life these day's we all need a short time daily to just unwind and relax. I'm sure there are lot's of ways, but my favorite way is a relaxing bubble bath and this is one way to accomplish it.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Bathtub (a large one if possible) smaller tubs will work just fine.
  • Your favorite bubble bath or bath oil. (I just like the bubbles)
  • Candles.
  • A warm, soft and large towel.
  • A soft fluffy or silky robe (depending on the season).
  • Tea or wine or etc.
Step1
Pick your own time. Pick your own time. First things first. Let your family, friends, co-workers and anyone else you can think of know that you WILL have one hour every day to just yourself. You pick what hour and try to stick with that hour, if one day that hour doesn't work for you just change it, this is your private time and you deserve and need it.
Step2
My time. My time. Now that everyone understands, prepare your bath area the way you want it (before your time starts, that way you have your full hour or whatever amount of time you specified).
Step3
Candles. Candles. I like hot water, lots of bubbles, lights off with a few candles, soft music and a glass of wine.
Step4
Glass of wine or hot cup of tea. Glass of wine or hot cup of tea. Now that you have your private time, time for only you, enjoy it. Try not to think of anything, just relax, listen to the soft music or the sound of the bubbles. Sip your wine, tea, etc., close your eyes.
Step5
Feeling good. Feeling good. OK your time is up, the rest is up to you, stay longer or get out and face everything again, but whatever you decide you will feel so much better after having that small amount of time all to yourself.

Tips & Warnings

  • Make sure you can't hear anything that's going on in or outside the rest of the house, like the tv or the lawn mower.
  • Don't get so relaxed that you fall asleep in the tub.
