It is much easier to make money online if you quit trying to "sell" and focus on
"recommending" instead. The easiest way to do this is to build a targeted list of hungry buyers who want what you have to offer. Building a TARGETED email list is easy once you apply the technique covered in this article.

I am fairly sure you have at least heard once, if not a thousand times..."build an email list", "the money is in the list" and so on...

And let me tell you, in my experience, this is not only true, but it is also the most important thing your website should do for you.

If you are NOT building a targeted email list of prospects who are interested
in what you have to offer, you are working harder instead of smarter.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Domain Name
  • Hosting
  • Autoresponder
  1. Step 1

    Build a "Squeeze Page".

For those of you who have never heard that term, let me
explain what a squeeze page is.

A squeeze page is simply a page that you will send people
to that basically has no other option other than signing up
for your newsletter, free info, or whatever "bribe" you
    may offer.

  2. Step 2

Choose the style you want for your squeeze page.

There are different types of squeeze pages. Some are long form and some are very short and to the point. (Examples of each style are listed in the resources section below.)

  3. Step 3

Use an autoresponder to manage your targeted email list.

An autoresponder is a great tool to help you manage your list
more effectively. One important feature is that it allows for
your members to be able to opt-out if they choose. This protects
    you from spam complaints.

An autoresponder is also very handy in helping to automate your
    online business.

Tips & Warnings
  • For your squeeze page to work most effectively, it of course, should be designed around whatever it is you are offering. For instance, you wouldn't offer recipes on how to cook a pot roast, if your site is all about vegetarian recipes...
  • A squeeze page will help you build a Targeted email list of hungry prospects who are interested in finding out more about what you have to offer. It helps to pre-qualify the members of your list.
  • A targeted email list makes it much easier to make sales. As your list members get to know you better and learn to trust you, you will have more chances to show them how they can benefit from what you have to offer. It also enables you to recommend other products, or services in future and thus make backend sales.
  • Do Not waste your dollars on adwords by sending your prospects directly to your affiliate site. Direct them to your opt-in squeeze page instead.
