Things You'll Need:
- computer
- patience
- persistence
-
Step 1
Save Money HawaiiThe most expensive part of a trip to Hawaii is the airfare! So you have to check websites daily so you know what is a good deal. I live in Kansas City Missouri. The lowest air to Honolulu I have found is $450, and that was a special during the off season.
-
Step 2
You usually get the best deals on packages--that is when you book hotel and air together. You can even book the car as part of the deal.
-
Step 3
Decide on which island or islands you want to visit.
Usually the best deals are to Honolulu and Waikiki Beach. But I think that is really over commercialized. In my humble opinion, and that of my husband's, Kawaii is the quietest, most beautiful of the islands. -
Step 4
Check out different websites such as www.travelation.com, www.kayak.com, http://www.farecompare.com to check on prices of packages. Don't forget to check airline websites themselves. www.northwest.com has great packages available.
-
Step 5
Save Money HawaiiCheck out travel forums such as the one on www.budgettravel.com. Ask questions, ask friends, research, research, research.

on 10/26/2007 I have several friends who are afraid of flying! Valium or a sleeping pill has helped them. THEY absolutely love Hawaii!
