Step 1
Plan the party months in advance. A great Super Bowl party takes months to plan. You need to know how many people you’re going to invite, how much food you should have and if you’ll need to get any additional equipment such as a big screen TV. You can’t plan a great Super Bowl party on a whim.
-
Step 2
Invite people at least a month in advance. The chances that somebody else you know will be throwing a Super Bowl party are very good. You want to get the word out to your friends about your party very early to ensure that you have a big crowd.
-
Step 3
Rent an entertainment system (if you already don’t have one). In order to have the ultimate Super Bowl party you have to pull out all the stops. That means acquiring the best technology possible. Rent a big screen high definition TV and get some surround sound. People will be talking about your party during next year’s Super Bowl.
-
Step 4
Confirm the number of guests you’re having days before the party. Doing so will ensure that you do not run out of food or drinks. Running out of either could be the ruin of your Super Bowl party.
-
Step 5
Call in your food order the day before. When you know how many people are coming to the party you can accurately guess how much food to order. Ordering that food the day before guarantees that the food will be ready by the time the game starts. Placing an order for food on Super Bowl Sunday is never a good idea. The wait could be hours and could kill your party.
-
Step 6
Have people come to your party hours before kickoff. Nobody likes interruptions during the Super Bowl. Avoid this by having all of your guests already at your place while the pre-game coverage is still being aired. Guests will also be able to enjoy the food and some drinks before the game begins.
-
Step 7
Have your guests bring something small to the party. Just because you’re throwing the ultimate Super Bowl party doesn’t mean that your guests can’t help out. Have everybody bring some snacks or just a few drinks. This will make sure that there is a wide variety of both food and drinks. It will also guarantee that there is an abundance of both.
-
Step 8
Have activities ready for halftime. Most of your guests won’t be interested in watching halftime of the Super Bowl. Have other things ready for your guests to do. These activities can range from drinking games to cards to video games. The activities you plan will be based upon what kind of partying you are having and the personalities of you and your guests.
