Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Don’t root for two NFL teams that are rivals of one another. To be a fan of an NFL team means to hate the rival of that team.
Step2
Own merchandise that represents both NFL teams. If you buy an NFL team blanket showing off Team A purchase a sweatshirt with the colors of Team B. Buy a jersey of a player from both teams. Make sure to have the equal amount of merchandise from both of your teams.
Step3
Know equal amounts of information about both NFL teams. Being a fan of an NFL team means to know that team’s roster, coaching staff and record. Being a fan of two NFL teams means double the work. Check the websites of both teams throughout the week to get news updates and information.
Step4
Sign up for email alerts from both teams. This will save you the time of having to search for news updates on both your favorite NFL teams. It will also keep you up to date on what is going on with both teams throughout the week.
Step5
Alternate between which NFL team’s apparel you wear. If you wear a jersey from Team A on a Monday wear a shirt from Team B on Tuesday. Have pride in both of your favorite NFL teams and make it known to those around you which teams you follow by wearing the colors of both teams.
Step6
Go to a sports bar on Sundays. On Sundays during the NFL regular season sports bars will show every game on numerous television sets. Going to one of these bars ensures that you won’t miss any of the action when both of your favorite NFL teams are playing. This is especially important when the two teams are playing at the same time.
Step7
Never pick a side when the two teams play one another. If you are a fan of two different NFL teams there will eventually come a time when those two teams face off. Don’t cheer for one of your favorite teams over the other. Instead, just watch the game as a neutral fan.
