How to Store your Lawnmower for the winter

Steps to keeping your lawnmower healthy during the winter season

Things You'll Need:

• Lawnmower
• WD-40
• Fuel Stabilizer

1. Your lawn mower should be stored with half a tank of gas or less. If you have more than a 1/2 tank, do a final mow on your lawn to reduce the gas content in the tank.

2. Unplug the spark plug. Clean all of the grass clippings from the blades and undercarriage so they won’t mold or rust.

3. Spray all the moving parts with WD-40 or some product similar to WD-40. For extra protection, add a fuel stabilizer to the gas tank for storage. In the spring, your lawnmower will be clean and ready to use!

• You can cover it to keep it dustfree as well.
