So you woke up this morning cranky and now everything and everyone is annoying you! We all know how that feels but there is something you can do about it so go on get into a better mood!
Ok you know you are in a bad mood so just accept it and don't pretend to be in a good mood. More times than not this will make your mood worse. Don't try to fight it. This doesn't mean you can be mean to people, but now that you've accepted it you can do something about it.
Step2
Tell the people that you work with so they will know not to bother you. And they won't think they did something to put you into this bad mood.
Step3
Think about what happened to put you in this bad mood. Did you sleep wrong or watch that scary movie that kept you up all night? Well try to find out what caused it and in the future you can prevent another awful day.
Step4
Looking at that face you just can't help but smile!
When your in a bad mood everything seems stupid and unexciting, but yesterday I'm sure there were things you liked. So try and remember what makes you happy. Whether it's a book or a coworker you like to talk to. Do something you love and try and turn the day around.
Step5
Take a long lunch break or a walk around the block to think things over. Maybe you just need some quiet time. And if that doesn't work just wait for this black cloud to pass. You've had a bad day before and it passed, this one will too.
Step6
Start your day over. When you leave for lunch pretend like you are leaving for the day, so when you come back it's like a whole new day and mood. This really does work and it can make a big difference.
Tips & Warnings
Do something at the beginning of each day that you enjoy that getting a cup of your favorite coffee or listening to your favorite music!
Just SMILE! You may not feel like it but if you smile you brain will get the signal that things aren't that bad and you will start to be happy.
Laughter really is the best medicine if you laugh you can't be mad for long.
If you find yourself having one bad day after another than maybe it could be your job or you could be depressed. Try talking to someone about it. Someone else's perspective can really help.
Don't make any big decisions while in a bad mood. You are not in your right state of mind.

Sorry Jordan, but not many people only have the worries of moving in with their In-Laws or watching scary movies... by the way I am in a good mood, I'm just trying to survive my Dad's death, my son's losing his hair prematurely...oh let me see, how about "not having enough money to eat, when your Lunch Break comes around? Go deeper and I'll pay attention... cause I believe you can do it! Thanx for the article (it just might have gotten me off to a better start today) Funny how things work!
