How to Make a Toothbrush Bracelet

SO you have all those old toothbrushes that you don't use any more, but you don't want to throw them away. Here's the perfect solution. Plus you get some unique jewelry out of the deal!

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• Toothbrush
• Hot Water
• Dish Towel
• Cold Water

1. Get all your old toothbrushes. Or buy some cheap plastic ones. The ones for little kids are cute because they have designs on them.
2. Heat up some water, either in the microwave or on the stove. While you are waiting for the water to boil pull the bristles out of the toothbrush. Pliers or tweezers work good.
3. When the water starts to boil remove it from the heat and drop in the toothbrush to soften.
4. Once it softens take it out of the water. Let the toothbrush cool, but just until it becomes warm. Then take a towel and bend the toothbrush to the shape you like.
5. After you bend it put it in a bowl of cold water. After about 5 seconds it will harden. Then put it on. If you don't like the shape you can redo the steps until you like it.
6. Enjoy your new jewelry! And go show it off!

Tips & Warnings

• The toothbrush should lay on the bottom of the pot so make sure it is big enough.
• Draw, paint, and embellish your toothbrush bracelet to make it really your own!
• Be careful not to burn yourself, they can get really hot!
