Things You’ll Need:

  • Computer
  • Open eyes
  • Highly tuned ears

Step1
Listen and respond appropriately to their feelings...you will succeed in communicating with them Remember some of the key traits of a Blue or NF. They desire the arts, love, and harmony to fulfill their creative needs. When involved in a cause, they are passionate, communicative and enthusiastic. Blues or NFs make excellent communicators and find themselves in teaching, motivational speaking, coaching, and the helping professions. Above all else, they are concerned for theirs and others' feelings.
Step2
Teamwork and democratic style of leadership are Blue or NF trends Observe key traits of the Blue or NF personality in those around you. At work, are there people with more love, feelings and concern for people? Do you get greeted by a hug? Is their office adorned with spiritual sayings, warm pictures of family, and personal development books? When playing sports, are they enthusiastic but feel a bit down when they win and another loses? Do they prefer a more democratic method of decision making and get pumped up to work with a team?
Step3
Express feelings of gratitude and thanks Listen to what they say. A Blue or NF will say, "I feel...," My unique efforts are not being recognized" and "I love you." They are very appreciative of others efforts.
Step4
Have fun uncovering others' True Colors By observing others, we can determine if they are a Blue/NF type or not...to a certain degree. You never really know if people are Blue/NF or not because of how they express these traits. An introverted person, one who gathers their energy from within, tend to show their secondary personality traits to the world and think with their primary traits. So if someone is showing Blue/NF traits, they could be introverted and showing Blue/NF as their secondary personality traits. How do you determine if they are introverted or extroverted? Ask them how do they feel after a social gathering, drained or ready to party more? An extroverted Blue will generally say, "I feel like talking and having more fun!" An introvert? "Oh, I'm so drained....I just want to go home and be by myself. Of course, a more accurate way to determine if someone is an Blue/NR is to ask them or invite them to take the test. However, after teaching True Colors for several years, I can accurately spot people's primary and secondary colors with about 90% accuracy. Just think of the applications of acquiring this "Color Watching" skill in business, at home or play!
