Have a stuffy bedroom? Stale basement? Fix any room that smells dirty, musty, or just not as fresh as you would like. I hate store bought air fresheners, they give me a headache and just add more odors rather than eliminate!
Add a few drops of Lavender oil to add a relaxing fragrence to the air.
Wash bedding once a week to keep bedrooms from getting too musty.
Sprinkle some baking soda in the bottom of your trash after you empty it, this will help eleminate odors that may build up from the trash.
Don't put packages that once contained raw meat in your garbage can, if you don't empty it right away, your kitchen will stink. Put those meat packages in your outdoor garbage can. If you can't do that right away, put it in a grocery bag, tri it up and stick outside until you can take it to the trash.
Sprinkle baking soda over your carpet, let rest for 10-15 minutes and then vaccum.
Wash towels BEFORE they smell musty. After using a towel a couple times, just take a sniff and if it doesn't smell too fresh, throw it in the wash.
Don't leave dirty socks around the house.
Thoroughly clean you kitchen and Bathroom at LEAST once a week.
