Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Look through your old Christmas cards, and pull out any of the cards that have pretty images or meaningful quotes on them. Be sure to also keep your eye out for those handwritten notes that are special to you. They will make a great addition to your collage.

  2. Step 2

Cut out the images, portions of images, quotes or words from the Christmas cards that hold special meaning for you or ones that simply give you holiday cheer when you look at them. Cut around the image in various shapes, making each one a little different.

  3. Step 3

Arrange the cut-out images on a piece of construction paper. Overlap the images a little, so that none of the construction paper can be seen in between the images. Experiment with placing the images at different angles.

  4. Step 4

Apply a small amount of glue to the back of the images, and press them down for a few seconds to the construction paper. Smooth out any lumps or wrinkles that appear.

  5. Step 5

Allow the Christmas card collage to completely dry overnight before hanging it up, placing it out on a table or giving it as a gift.

Tips & Warnings
  • The Christmas card collages can be laminated and turned into placemats or strung together as a table runner.
