How to Care for a Plant Sim in Sims 2: Seasons

Caring for a Plant Sim is much different than caring for a normal Sim. Their needs aren't nearly as extensive, as Plant Sims only need sunlight, water and love to survive.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Step1
Make sure your Plant Sim spends plenty of time outside during the day. She will need sunlight, so give her plenty of things to do outside between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Step2
Place a Toasty Garden Lamp in your Plant Sim's home so that he can fulfill some sunlight need during the nighttime and on snowy and rainy days. At 2,000 Simoleons, it's an expensive investment, but well worth it to keep your Plant Sim's needs levels at full capacity.
Step3
Satisfy your Plant Sim's need for water. There are many ways to do this. She can drink water, drink juice from a bar, drink lemonade, play in rain puddles, have a water balloon fight with another Sim, stand in the rain, take a shower or bath, soak in a hot tub, and go swimming in a pool.
Step4
Give your Plant Sim an active social life to satisfy the love need. Relationships don't need to be romantic to satisfy this need; friendships will do. Since Plant Sims mate asexually, they have little need for romantic relationships with other Sims.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you find you don't have enough money for a Toasty Garden Lamp for your Plant Sim's home, consider getting rid of some of the items she doesn't need. You can sell the refrigerator and stove, as Plant Sims don't need to eat food. You can also sell her bed, as she doesn't need to sleep.
