How to Play Statue Tag in Museums

Museums can sometimes be boring places for children. What better way to liven up the trip then by playing statue tag. It's a version of freeze tag, but instead of just standing completely still, you freeze into the shapes of the museum statues closest to you.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Find at least 4 friends to play freeze tag in the museum. Select one person to be "it."
Step2
Chase your friends around the museum if you're "it." When your friend is tagged, he has to freeze in imitation of the museum statue closest to him.
Step3
Keep an eye out for anyone running towards the frozen person. If they crawl through the frozen friend's legs then the "statue" becomes unfrozen. You'll have to try to freeze that player again.
Step4
Attempt to freeze everyone into the shapes of statues. The last person to be frozen becomes "it" for the next round of museum statue tag, or freeze tag.
Step5
Continue playing until everyone is bored or until you are kicked out of the museum. More than likely you will be kicked out of the museum first.

Tips & Warnings

  • Be careful when running through the museum. There are many expensive valuables that can be easily broken.
  • Be aware of the security guard. He usually frowns upon anyone running through the museum, especially if they are playing statue tag.
  • Avoid running over customers as you play statue tag.
